Clear and Brilliant

Clear and Brilliant utilises the anti-ageing properties of Fraxel laser technology to counteract ageing and sun damage and is commonly known as the “baby Fraxel”. Much like Fraxel, Clear and Brilliant uses gentle laser energy to create millions of microscopic treatment zones. These treatment zones serve to stimulate the production of new skin tissue, thereby replacing areas of damaged and aged skin.

Before your treatment:

The skin must be prepped with the correct skin care products. Our dermal therapists and nurses can assist you with what is required.

You should stop any active products one week out from your appointment.

You can’t have the treatment if you have any active infections, wounds or lesions.

During your treatment:

Be sure to attend your appointment makeup free.

Your skin will be cleansed and we’ll take photos of your skin prior to treatment.

For maximum comfort, your skin is numbed using a topical cream.

The treatment itself takes 15-30 minutes, however we allow about an hour for the whole process.

After your treatment:

You will feel hot, as if you’ve had a mild sunburn.

We’ll recommend aftercare products which are safe to use for maximum recovery.

You must wear an SPF 50+ broadband sunscreen every day.

Your skin will be red and flaky, and may swell.

The full range of risks and reactions will be explained prior to treatment, but some of these symptoms can last 10 days.

The results from your Clear and Brilliant treatment are immediate and continue to improve over time. After the initial post-treatment symptoms subside, you will see a rejuvenated overall appearance. During the next few months, as your collagen regenerates, you will see further improvements.

Most patients require 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for best results.
